A
breakdown in a family relationship
is much more common than one might
think. When problems occur in the
nuclear family, a lot of pain is
experienced. This pain may show up
as sadness, anger, frustration,
hostility, withdrawal, loneliness or
disinterest for example. Causes for
family breakdowns are varied ranging
from changes and transitions,
breakdowns in communication, power
struggles, rebellion, differences in
opinions, poor communication, and
outside influences to name a few.
